Why We Remain Sick
People theorize about why sickness remains in their body. Several issues might be standing in the way of a breakthrough. But there’s one impediment that’s been more evident to me lately.
I've found that whenever there’s a lack of confidence in God, it invites stagnation and death.
I think Solomon was disclosing this truth when he affirmed the following: "Hope deferred makes the heart sick" (Proverbs 13:12).
This insightful declaration is about more than counteracting toxic emotions. Hopelessness affects the inside and the outside. It distorts feelings along with one's physical form.
Where hope is absent, you will often discover sickness.
One thing that you and I can do to increase healing is create an environment of expectation.
Lift up your countenance and continually affirm the goodness and mercy of God. Leaning on His abundant grace may unlock the door of healing for you.
